《國際體育科學(xué)與教練》是一份同行評議的國際性學(xué)術(shù)/專業(yè)期刊，旨在彌合教練與體育科學(xué)之間的差距。該雜志將整合運動科學(xué)的理論和實踐，促進對教練實踐的批判性反思，并評估關(guān)于教練有效性和績效提升的普遍接受的信念。將促進開放的學(xué)習(xí)制度，其中包括:(a)使教練能夠接觸體育科學(xué)，將知識轉(zhuǎn)化為工作實踐;(b)教練所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)傳達給了體育科學(xué)家。

The International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching is a peer-reviewed, international, academic/professional journal, which aims to bridge the gap between coaching and sports science.The journal will integrate theory and practice in sports science, promote critical reflection of coaching practice, and evaluate commonly accepted beliefs about coaching effectiveness and performance enhancement. Open learning systems will be promoted in which: (a) sports science is made accessible to coaches, translating knowledge into working practice; and (b) the challenges faced by coaches are communicated to sports scientists.
