　　在學術出版過程中，延期的情況時有發生，作者需要先向編輯和審稿人表示感謝，然后說明由于某些問題需要額外的實驗、改進語言質量、向專家請教或查閱文獻，需要更多的時間來完成修改，申請延期修回時要具體說明需要延期多久，只要延期時間合理，期刊通常會酌情滿足請求。
